The eggify will be this years effigy at Kiezburn. It will be a 3m tall egg. There is a surprise waiting inside which will only be revealed at the burn. The hidden treasure is covered by an eggshell which will open up like a lotus flower when it heavily burns. Therefore we will have a burn inside a burn - it is a dynamic burnable art piece - a 2 phased burn after when the egg will open up. This art piece in form of an egg reflects a new beginning - a fresh start. We will also bring little gifts in form of an egg for everybody to remember this fenomenal art piece.

This is the Kiezburn Effigy. It will be burnable and strikable.

On top of the hill where we burn the Effigy always

it is free to visit and will be burned in front of everybody.

We will do everything possible to LNT if we have to strike it or leave a better trace after burning.

There will be a 6meter burn-radius in which we will secure the grass lands if there are any. We advise a 10-12 meter radius of no people entering. In arrangement with the fire fighters and the lord of Fire we will work on a fire safety concept . The burn itself will last 30-60min and we will avoid up sparking burnable material as good as possible.
